Paul is a Founding Partner of Pike Street Capital. He currently serves on the Boards of Pike Street Capital portfolio companies’ Head Rush Technologies, QuickBox Fulfillment and US BioTek. Part of his current focus is working with portfolio management teams on the implementation of Pike Street Capital’s Strategy to Execute (S2E) growth oriented, process improvement playbook.
Prior to Pike Street, Paul served on the Boards of Aeryon Labs, which was sold to FLIR (NYSE: FLIR) in 2019, and Abracon, which was sold to The Riverside Company in 2018. Paul was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of Radiant Zemax. Radiant Zemax was formed through the Evergreen Pacific Partners backed acquisition of two founder led businesses, Radiant Imaging and Zemax Development. Zemax, the leader in optical and illumination design software, was sold to Arlington Capital Partners in 2014 after going through a successful period of growth and international expansion. Radiant was repositioned from a R&D focused business to a leader in production test and measurement of lighting and displays. Radiant was acquired by Konica Minolta in 2015 for $241 million.
Prior to joining Radiant Zemax, Paul held several leadership positions with Danaher. As President of Tektronix Service Solutions, he played a leadership role in developing a service strategy including the acquisitions of Davis Calibration and Sypris Test and Measurement. He also served as President of Fluke Networks. Before joining Fluke Networks, Paul held several leadership roles within Hach-Lange, part of Danaher’s environmental platform of companies in the water quality analysis and treatment business.
Paul’s professional experiences also included working for General Motors Corporation’s Latin America, Africa, and Middle East Operations and Coopers and Lybrand L.L.P. He was awarded the General Motors Fellowship to attend Harvard Business School and earned his MBA with High Distinction in 2002. He also holds a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University.

Mr. Schultz is a Managing Partner and the leader of the Seattle office of Transom Capital, focusing primarily on opportunity sourcing and portfolio company operations. Over his career, Mr. Schultz has spent considerable time in each functional role (sourcing, underwriting, and operations) of the private equity industry. However, over the last ten years he has focused primarily on portfolio company operations and discovering how to leverage people with best practices to create operational transformations.
Prior to Transom, Mr. Schultz was a Senior Vice President in the Operations Group at Evergreen Pacific Partners, the largest private equity fund headquartered in Washington State. While at Evergreen Pacific Mr. Schultz led portfolio company operations. In this capacity Mr. Schultz served as CEO of multiple mid-market companies. Prior to his work at Evergreen Pacific, Mr. Schultz was the COO of Blue Microphones, a portfolio company of Transom Capital. In addition, Mr. Schultz has worked as an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company where he consulted to Fortune 100 companies across a variety of industries, including, aerospace, software, hospitality and finance.
Mr. Schultz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College in Claremont, CA and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School in Cambridge, MA.

Gijs is the co-founder of 747 Capital and a Managing Partner of the firm. Gijs is actively involved in portfolio management, due diligence and manager selection. Gijs oversees many of the general management responsibilities within the firm. Gijs is a member of the firm’s investment committee and serves on the advisory boards of various underlying portfolio funds. Gijs has been active in private equity since 1995.
Prior to 747 Capital, Gijs was founder and General Partner of Triad Media Ventures, a $50 million venture capital fund that made direct investments in US companies. Gijs was Director of Financial Services for Icon International, a member of Omnicom Group. He started his career at the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, a diplomatic function, in New York in 1993.
Gijs holds a M.B.A. in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.A. from Webster University.

Josh joined 747 Capital in 2003 and is a Partner of the firm. As a member of the investment team since inception of the firm’s first fund, Josh is actively involved in the portfolio management, due diligence and manager selection process. Josh also oversees reporting and fund administration as well as US business development. Josh is a member of the firm’s investment committee and serves on the advisory boards of various underlying portfolio funds.
Prior to his role at 747 Capital, Josh was a product marketing manager at Citadon, where he managed the development of collaborative software products for the construction and engineering industries.
Josh received a M.B.A in Finance from the Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Middlebury College.
